Staffing and workforce solutions provider Quess Corp on Friday reported a 44.21 per cent year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit to ₹74.66 crore during the September quarter of the current fiscal.

The company's net profit stood at ₹51.77 crore during the corresponding period of the preceding financial year, Quess Corp said in a regulatory filing.

Revenue from operations grew by 14.74 per cent during the quarter under review to ₹4,396.48 crore, compared to ₹3,831.60 crore in the same period a year ago.

The company’s board of directors also approved an interim dividend of ₹5 per share, Quess Corp informed the stock exchanges.

"The Board has approved an interim dividend of ₹5 per share, reaffirming our commitment to creating sustainable value for our shareholders. This quarter's performance was marked by a significant milestone as our headcount crossed 5,00,000, driven largely by headcount additions of over 20,000 in our General Staffing business," Quess Corp ED and Group CEO Lohit Bhatia said.

He said the segment delivered robust performance, adding 116 new client logos and achieving 15 per cent YoY revenue growth and 23 per cent YoY Ebitda growth, positioning us strongly for the quarters ahead.

“Professional Staffing recorded 13 per cent revenue growth, supported by sustained hiring demand from Global Capability Centres (GCCs).

“Despite geopolitical challenges in the Middle East, our Overseas Business maintained momentum, delivering 10 per cent YoY revenue growth and 23per cent YoY Ebitda growth. This performance was driven by higher margins in the Middle East, while Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines contributed to revenue growth," Bhatia added.
