Nawal has played a key role in developing the retail real estate investment trust and has served on its board since November 2025

Siddharth Nawal, currently a Managing Director in Blackstone’s India real estate team, has been appointed MD and CEO-designate of Nexus Select Trust and will succeed Dalip Sehgal on January 1, 2027.

Retail REIT Nexus Select Trust has appointed Siddharth Nawal as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer-designate. He will succeed Dalip Sehgal as MD and CEO on January 1, 2027.

Nawal is currently a Managing Director in Blackstone’s India real estate team and has been closely involved in developing Nexus Select Trust. He has served as a director on the trust’s board since November 2025.

Asheesh Mohta, Chairman of Nexus Select Trust, said Nawal’s investment expertise and understanding of the platform would position him to lead the trust’s next phase of growth.

A chartered accountant, Nawal began his career at PwC before moving to roles at Shell and Trans Maldivian Airways. He joined Blackstone in 2015 as an analyst and rose through the ranks to become a Managing Director in 2025.
